I've installed 14.0-RELEASE on some old hardware. This box has two Nvidia nForce MPC55 ethernet adapters and two Marvell 88E1149 Gigabit PHY adapters. The Marvell ports do not show up at all but the Nvidia ports appear as nfe0 and nfe1.

In the FreeBSD installer, attempting to configure either nfe0 or nfe1 - with a cable attached - caused the machine to completely freeze. Console mouse icon no longer tracks mouse movement. Caps lock and num lock lights on keyboard no longer respond. Only recourse is to reboot and start over.
As a stop-gap, I configured a cheap USB wifi adapter for wlan0 network access.
Anyone out there had success with the MPC55?
