Nextcloud

I had been thinking about installing Nextcloud for some time but after seeing this video I think I will give it a go.

I was encouraged by the fact that an installation script is provided to install all the necessary components.

That script is available here.

My preference is to install it in a jail, although I'd like to make sure I pull in the latest versions of all the components.

A lot of php modules are included. Which versions are the most recent/stable?

That script is available here.
Use this URL instead, so one can actually decide to download or not the script which is in the archive:
If you want to see instructions, there are in the PDF which is downloadable too, I took briefly a look and I suppose it describes what the script actually does when it is executed, nice from the author to add this, careful with the software versions though the document seems a bit outdated.

I knew this one, so I share it just in case.

I don't use nextcloud anymore but I am sure some will enjoy this.
Thanks for the tip balanga

Sort of, I was using it in LAN only and was interested by the sharing file part of nextcloud (so clearly overkill for my usage), a jail sharing files via SSH does the job for me, so just a personal shell script to interact with it. Not fancy but lighter than nextcloud and I can access it from command line. I don't need it to be bullet proof either, everything stay in LAN only.

Check this, mine is just a modification of this one:

That being said miniserve, or sftpgo are good alternative too.
