Musescore crash at start

Hello all, MuseScore crashes during start. It just prints the advertising image, then crash. The last log message mentions a missing file. I can't figure which one.

There is also mention of missing /dev/snd/seq , but these seq do not exist on FreeBSD. I'm y correct ?

I've tried to remove all the directories: Document/Musescore, .config/Musescore .local/share/MuseScore ...

FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE-p13 / musescrore 4.7.3.

Does anybody have the same problem ?

Yes I get the same message and crash, on FreeBSD 15.1. I haven't used MuseScore for a while so didn't notice. There was a version change from 4.6.5 to 4.7.3 in June - maybe try the older version?

Nope, the same output that I get on the console.

Seem a logic bug :

Terminating due to uncaught exception 0x1a6dda61f000 of type std::out_of_range

I don't know (remember) how to downgrade to an older release. If the previous is OK, I would send a crash report to musescore..
 
I was able to replicate this in my VM with fresh 15.0 and musescore-4.7.3. While I was getting this error in gdb session lldb one actually opened the UI. Given the amount of threads it opened maybe a race issue. Probably not the way you want to use it but if you really need to open it:

Where r is a command to run the process.

The /dev/snd/seq is not needed for playback (tested it in my VM) but if you want that you could install audio/alsa-seq-server and enable it as a service.

edit: I built it from ports (and all qt6-* dependencies it had) - it works just fine.

edit2: As I've compiled qt6* and musescore with DEBUG I wanted to check this also with standard packages again. I was not able to replicate it. I ditched the whole VM, reinstalled again and now I can't reproduce it.
