Other MOUNT FAT32?-NOOB requires HELP

have been trying to mount two fat32 partitions but haven't had any luck...

am running freebsd 11.1 w/ windows 7 dual booted. probably missed a step or poorly configured something. my user is in both wheel & operator group.

I configured my setup following-> https://www.bsdnow.tv/tutorials/the-desktop

read the handbook and faq's, I saw this-> FAT FreeBSD includes a read-write FAT driver. For more information, see mount_msdosfs(8).

tried google even yandex but could not find a solution.

Any help will be greatly appreciated~

What did you try? As far as I know mount_msdosfs(8) should be able to sort this out.

Also: what exactly are you trying to mount? You mention fat32 partitions but also mention Windows 7 which normally uses NTFS. And if you want to mount that then it might be a better idea to try sysutils/fusefs-ntfs.

I'm trying to mount the Fat32 partitions i'm not using NTFS on win7.

Maybe something is wrong with my permissions because XFCE isn't able to shutdown from the menu only logout is available..

I just wanted a automount/unmount solution like autofs to do the job.
sorry i should of rephrased the question.

Nevermind You were right! I was using NTFS not FAT32 on those partitions,read through this https://www.tuxera.com/community/ntfs-3g-manual/

Im always using FAT32 on usb drives and must of mistaken filesystems lol.I don't really use windows (slackware,gentoo user for 3-4 years now) so i've forgotten that NTFS is the standard..

Anyway much kudos and thank you.
FreeBSD is awesome.
