Solved Missing top pagination on mobile phones

I hate it that the forum software doesn't have a pagination on top of multiple page threads when using mobile phones.
It's tiring to scroll down a mile long thread only to get to the next page.

Every sane UX specialist uses pagination at the top AND at the bottom!

The banner at the top might be interfering, it's not part of the XenForo forum software. I never view the forums on my phone, can barely read plain emails on it (I probably need some reading glasses, my eyes aren't what they're used to be).

When I turn my iphone SE with Safari from portrait to landscape, I get top and bottom pagination controls.
In portrait mode no top pagination controls however.

Added: the top pagination controls also disappear when "squeezing" the view window of a browser (firefox on Win10) into a (very narrow portrait like model (bottom pagination controls stay) . It seems therefore a design decision to let the top pagination controls disappear when in (narrow) portrait mode ...

Don't hide pagination at the top of threads on mobile

With XF2, when on mobile, if you open a thread that doesn't have unread posts then there is no jump to new button and the the pagination buttons are hidden. This can be frustrating if you want to head straight to the last page or any other page. Without the page buttons you don't have context...

This can be fixed with CSS. The pagination is there but hidden.

Adding this CSS will show the top pagination controls on mobile:
