Solved Micro not working in Telegram

The video and the headphones work as they should. I can see and hear the other person and he can see me.
But the other person can't hear me. In the settings in Telegram I have as output device pcm3: play:dsp3 and input device pcm3:record:dsp3.
I have already changed the input device to 'default', 'OSS default' and 'pcm4:record:dsp4'

This micro works as it should in Jitsi meet, Teams, OBS Studio and Audacity.
So I suspect it's a bug, but I'm not sure.

You could try building with pulseaudio (generally not liked on this forum).

I had a similar thing with skype on one machine. Various build options did not solve it. In skype only, could not use the microphone that came with the webcam. In the end, I got a cheap microphone and plugged it in so that it is on pcm0. That works.

Like your picture.

In the end, I got a cheap microphone and plugged it in so that it is on pcm0. That works.
How I finally solved it is by plugging in my webcam (HD-3000) and then I saw that it could use the webcam's micro. Most of the other apps I use on FreeBSD usually recognize the microphone plugged into the jack connector. And the webcam is usually not recognized in my apps for audio. But with Telegram, it's the other way around.

So it now works perfectly as it should. The LifeCam HD-3000 usually has on the packaging that it works perfectly with windows10: https://external-content.duckduckgo...ms.s1.citilink.ru/727965_p01_b.jpg&f=1&nofb=1

But according to many users, the HD-3000 does not work with windows 10, despite the label that sticks on the packaging: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ndows-10/06156168-85fb-47ee-8d2e-0795e1683fe7

I think in the end this is mind-boggling that the Microsoft HD-3000 works better on FreeBSD than it does on windows10.
