libpcre problem

Running "git --version" failed with output:

ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/libpcre2-8.so.0: version PCRE2_10.47 required by /usr/local/bin/git not defined

What to do?

Make sure every pkg is updated. Something is out of sync.

Just came across that issue on a freshly deployed FreeBSD 15.0 on an infomaniak VPS lite.

'pkg update' did not report anything. "Installing" 'pcre2' solved it, by upgrading it (?)

$ sudo pkg install pcre2
