Fixed by me cleaning up my env variables. Those env variables are pretty standard and working fine with all other ports but this one.

So I was able to build and install this port with this command composed by me:

env -i PATH=${PATH} make -C /usr/ports/lang/rust clean install

Hope this help, will love to be helped too sometimes
 
I don't really have any idea about where those odd characters come from just in that port.
