jails jail configuration non persistent

Hello,

I have this strange behavior where in a jail with an inital package install and related service enabling, after some time (hours, I don't know really how many), the configuration and the installed package seems to disappear as though no configuration were done to the jail in the first place.

What I mean by "seems to disappear", is after a while:
- the package does not seem to be installed anymore in the jail (can't find the cli tool, nor the service)
- the <jail_root>/etc/rc.conf configuration to enable the service is absent

But the jail continues to live and can be ping.


Also, reinstalling the package and configuring the jail to enable the service does work as expected

It does not happen with my other jails.

I could observe the same behavior for a file in my home directory i.e. I create a file and after a while it disappear.

and I think this thread can be closed as the issue is not strictly related to jails.
