Is the performance of FreeBSD13 worse than Linux and NetBSD9.2 ?

A lot has changed since that benchmark and I would argue that OpenBenchmark kinda performance subpar on many distros is it disreagards any distro specific optimizations and in many casues also platform optimizations.
I would highly recommend that you evaluate your workload by (generic recommendation) defining CPUTYPE in /etc/make.conf , compile ports with OPENMP, OPTIMIZED_CFLAGS, LTO options enabled treewide as they will in many cases increase performance noticably. Do note that some ports will show little to no difference at all when it comes to performance increasement.
