Is LXDE faster than XFCE?

hi

I'd like to build FreeBSD Live, booting from the USB stick and my choice are these 2 Window Manager: LXDE and XFCE.
Is LXDE faster than XFCE as Live?

I used LXDE a little more than a year and switched to XFCE. I found both to be stable, appart from PCManFM I had some trouble with at time (things may have changed). XFCE seems more mature and has more features which often are available as separate packages. But again, I switched to something else (Openbox, which is the window manager used in LXDE).

LXDE recently hit 1.x and to my experience in the last year or so it is quite stable. Never had any problems with it, in both FreeBSD and Debian Linux.

I've tested both now and it works well, but LXDE needs just 10MB less RAM and it seems to be a little bit faster on my P4/1GB RAM, slow machine.
