is kde5 still unstable with amdgpu?

i never had crashes on freebsd in my life, until i started using kde 5 with amdgpu (r9 290x)
is this yet solved?

I was using KDE 5.17 with amdgpu (RX 570) and i had no issues at all.

I am currently using amdgpu and KDE on my main FreeBSD 12.1 workstation with a AMD R9 380 card, and have no issues that may be linked to this GPU for more than six month in my case.

Your card is supported at ~linux 5.3 with mesa 19.2.

graphics/drm-fbsd12.0-kmod is currently at linux 4.16 and 5.0 in devel and graphics/mesa-dri/ is at 18.3.2.
