Threads can be moved by moderators, for good reasons.

To request that a thread be moved, you can contact a moderator.
To request that trusted users can receive moving privileges upon request, I suggest you post a proposal here.

I don't consider myself as having the maturity of a trusted user; this is why I asked the question here.
I may just decide to repost and remove the original; that is if the moderators would allow such.
