Not to be a detractor but these devices are un-interesting to me.

A ways back I bought a used AntMiner built with Beaglebone and it felt like a scams device.

What are the synergies to separate CPU boards? Is this a VAX nostalgia device?

OK I see they are using RK3588 and that that is groovy.

What cracked me up is to see a PicoPSU in the ATX connector.
Why bother with all that if you are gonna use DC input anyway.
Meh. Nice I/O but I will pass for now.
 
Yeah, they're pricey. I wonder if you can have a mixture of different compute boards. How would that look to an OS?

Exactly. And once you leave silicone the core interconnects become way slower...

Reflecting I like where they are going. You can start with 8 cores and add more if needed.
400 bucks for that is not cheap. But for an ITX board its not unreasonable.
Exactly how many lanes of PCIe (and what bus speed) for NVMe do you end up with is a question I have...

Also what about memory. You just add up what is on the modules? Is that handled by NUMA?
With memory controller on die and memory local on SOM that sounds fine but how do you leave the SOM and combine with other SOM without taking a huge hit.

This reminds me of the Antminer alot. It looked real good on paper...

I would bet you a used Antminer S9 you can't.
I just don't see it having that level of logic.
