Solved Intel SFP+ card not compatible

Hi,

I have a problem with my network card.
I'm using Dell R620 (for OPNsense) with:
- 2x I350 Gigabit Network Connection
- 2x Emulex OneConnect 10Gb NIC
- 2x 82599ES 10-Gigabit SFI/SFP+ Network Connection

The gigabit cards were working properly from the beginning. I had to install "oce" driver for "Emulex OneConnect 10Gb NIC" to work. But when I installed the "ix(gbe)" driver, OPNsense still didn't see the 82599ES.

Can someone help, please? :)
Thanks, H

Code:
ix0@pci0:1:0:0: class=0x020000 card=0x061115d9 chip=0x10fb8086 rev=0x01 hdr=0x00
    vendor     = 'Intel Corporation'
    device     = '82599ES 10-Gigabit SFI/SFP+ Network Connection'
    class      = network
    subclass   = ethernet
ix1@pci0:1:0:1: class=0x020000 card=0x061115d9 chip=0x10fb8086 rev=0x01 hdr=0x00
    vendor     = 'Intel Corporation'
    device     = '82599ES 10-Gigabit SFI/SFP+ Network Connection'
    class      = network
    subclass   = ethernet
works just fine on 12.2-RELEASE-p10.

Hii, thanks for the answers. So, I've decided to switch to pfSense, but still the same problem. :confused:

pfSense is, just like OPNsense, not supported here though. See the link I posted earlier. We only support FreeBSD and none of the derivatives.
