FreeBsd 8.1-RELEASE #0 and Gnome 2.30.2
I have (apparently) successfully installed a number of ports through the CLI but only two of these, (Etherape & Celestia-gnome), appear in the Gnome drop down menus. I have also tried to install through the <system><administration><add/remove software> GUI but with the same result.
Please forgive me if this is not specific to this exact forum but it does seem to be related to Gnome since I get successful messages throughout the port installation process.
