OK, first off I am doing this from a linux installation. I dd the 14.1 DVD iso to my nvme drive
then check the drive to see if it was successful
This works.
Then I reboot into the installer. After it loads, reboot back into Linux.
run
again and its different
viewing with diff
my best guess is that is setting EFI vars or something?
