Other incorporating diff into emacs dired

I am a long time user of midnight commander and one of the features which I often use is C-x C-d to compare files from either pane.

I would like to incorporate such a feature into emacs when using dired with a split sreen.

Has anyone set up something like this?

If so how did you do it?

I'm using doom emacs if that has any bearing.
