slim log in mamager, with this install, and last, when i log into a WM/DT with xfce4 it is now just not completely going into xfce4 it hangs, if I switch ttys and ps -aux I can see the xfce-session in processes but when I switch back it is still hanging and not compeltely starting xfce4. if it is windowmaker, or fluxbox it logs in and if I try to start an app it hangs and does not start quickly. it hangs for I have not timed it, but a good 10 to 15 seconds or more before it actually appears on the screen.
whence it "settles down" in whatever it is waiting for, it runs fine. it is installed on a
Samsung 512GB PM951 OEM M.2 SSD NVMe PCIe 3.0x4 Gen3
so there should not be any lag time due to medium it is installed on.
I have no idea what the cause of this can be to even try to figure out what to look for to try and fix it.
