Solved How to SSH without gateway

Hi there, I've been using FreeBSD for a few years now and only now I've come to confusion.

I want to connect to my FreeBSD box (SSH) from my Windows computer. I have both computers connected directly to each other through Ethernet cable. But I can not figure out how to enable inbound access on the FreeBSD box since it's directly connected to my Windows PC and no router or internet is involved. Network interface is fully functional (both ends).

Please provide me a solution I would be happy to learn this as it is quite handy.

Both computers must have an IP address assigned, either manually or through DHCP. After that, the FreeBSD system must have sshd(8) enabled. Then all you need is an SSH program on Windows.
