I had a bit of an accident with an hopefully unrelated problem which didn't send me to a GUI, lightdm nor XFCE4 (the problem was that I tried to mount /compat/linux directories that don't exist), but luckly I fixed the issue no problem.
But after reboot reverted my whole XFCE set to the default, wallpaper, panel layout everything was back to default.
Is there a way to revert to my previous configuration? Because I did not touch my .config file threw the whole process of fixing the previous problem.
Only thing I did was starting up startx for a simple Xorg GUI session to configure the /etc/fstab file threw the terminal more easily.
