How to listen to freebsd mailing lists , using imap, sylpheed/claws.

I would like to listen to freebsd mailing lists.
No need to send mails, i only use bugzilla.
Anyone can guide me how i can setup sylpheed/claws to do so.
I need some imap server address , a login name , a password , a protocol.
Where to get these variables ?

Nothing are provided to directly accessing ML servers via POP3 and/or IMAP for regular users.
You need to subscribe to ML you want to read.
Entering link to whichever you want to subscribe here would guide you how you can subscribe.

Alternatively, there are official web-based ML archives.

That's a way to receive tons of e-mails in my yahoo email account.
But i don't want that , my knowledge of mutt is too little to do filtering.
I want an "imap" server address.
I've heard, maybe rumor , some devs use imap?

I'm not a committer having @freebsd.org account, so I cannot know, but possibly some committers working as moderators for limited, moderated MLs are allowed direct access to the very ML host they moderate?

Of course, ML server admins should have the priviledge you have, but it should be because they are "the admins of the specific ML" or "the admins of the whole ML infrastructure of freebsd.org domain".

And if IMAP server is configured, anyone having *@freebsd.org (basically committers) email address would be able to use IMAP client to read / send emails FOR THE EMAIL ACCOUNT OF THEMSELVES, not the ones of any MLs. But I'm not a committer.
