How to install chromium without Pulse and Pipewire

Hi guys,

I don't remember if pkg has an equivalent of apt install $PACKAGE --without-recommends but I don't need either pulse or pipewire; if I could install Chromium without those I would be happier.

Chromium port depend on pulse and pipewire by default, if you don't want them, i guess you have to build chromium itself which is gonna be a very long journey.

Meanwhile I tried to with linux-chrome, it is installed but I can't find it, do you know where it ended up?

It should be installed in /usr/local/bin/google-chrome, you can also list what the package has had installed to your system with the command pkg list linux-chrome.

Yeah, that's more or less what happens with Libreoffice, which depends on qt6-multimedia which brings in both pipewire and pulseaudio

Compiling Libreoffice from ports without qt6-multimedia, something I don't know if it's even possible, would probably take a couple of days on my spare machine...

I just compiled my firefox in /usr/ports/www/firefox, and it was pretty fast and easy.
