Ok. I'm getting old. Heck, I remember installing Gnome 1 on FreeBSD for the first timeI'm not sure XFCE existed back then. Freshports doesn't have the creation datex11-wm/xfce. Maybe I'll poke around in the old CVS trees (yes, this was before git and before subversion even).
This sentence doesn't make any sense. Please explain in an understandable language what you're trying to achieve.how to make an image in FreeBSD version 6.0, fully configured, how to install the pkg that comes out of the desktop?
My computer science teacher would give me an excellent grade for this, I easily set up version 13, but I've been working on version 6 for 5 hours.
Зачем вам FreeBSD 6.0?
Ok, how do i install it now?
Why do you need FreeBSD 6.0 ?
Your teacher is going to expect you read the documentation, then work it out yourself. If somebody else tells you exactly how to do it you won't score brownie points. My computer science teacher would give me an excellent grade for this
Yeah, don't expect this to work on a modern PC. But a VM could be configured to run it. Which already succeeded: Thread how-do-i-install-freebsd-version-6-0-on-my-virtual-box.88041At least you need a very old PC for it I guess
Да, не ожидайте, что это будет работать на современном ПК. Но виртуальная машина может быть настроена для его запуска. Что уже удалось: Thread how-do-i-install-freebsd-version-6-0-on-my-virtual-box.88041
