R ralphbsz Jan 14, 2026 #27 Dust stuck in the fan can cause noises, but usually, noise is a sign of worn out fan. 128 degrees C is definitely way to high for most chips. At that point, you really need to worry about damage. And brown/yellow spots on the PC board.
