GNOME Web not working

This is a new installation of FreeBSD using the pre-configured VHD virtual machine file, FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE.

I installed GNOME from the package. It runs fine except that when I try to use the Web browser I just get an error page, no matter what URL I enter:

Any suggestions please?
