I'm just refreshing the old known problem with FreeBSD and printing, which happening as well for me on GNOME.
I'm trying to understand why we need to remove/rename FreeBSD core file /usr/bin/lpr (or change the ordering of PATH) to make the printing job working each time when we install the release or new kernel.
Why Linux has no problem with that, but only FreeBSD?
Is there any way/method that this BUG (unexpected result) somehow can be fixed permanently for the next release?
