Gnome 3 Import

Now that 9.1 is released and ports are unfrozen are we any closer to seeing an import? I've searched the freebsd-gnome mailing list as well as marcuscom but could not seem to find any useful information. Is there help needed in a specific area that I could offer assistance if needed?

Yes I have used it from marcusports and indeed it works. I was referring to it being imported into the FreeBSD ports tree as mentioned on this page.

According to http://wiki.pcbsd.org/index.php/GNOME3:
NOTE: As of PC-BSD 9.0-RELEASE, GNOME3 is not yet an official FreeBSD port. Once it is available via the ports tree, it will be added to PC-BSD which means it may be selected as a desktop in the PC-BSD installer or system [metapackage] manager.

As was announced in this message is sure to be merged ASAP.
