gksu not working

I tried to use gksu and the login box open but nothing happen after. I get the following message:
Code:
Failed to obtain xauth key: xauth binary not found at usual locations

xauth exist on /usr/local/bin/xauth?
Maybe because is a dependency of xorg (and gksu too) you should kill Xserver and startx again? This also will create automatically .Xauthority on /home/user.

Appart from Dasher, GOK, Orca and Epiphany noting is broken. Those are package I removed because I don't use them.

I installed Xorg-minimal instead of xorg could it be part of the problem?

No. I have installed Xorg-minimal and gksu too and gksu works. I think that Xorg-minimal saves you from all x-apps like xpd, xcalc, xclock etc and a number of video drivers. Things that the most of us will never use.

I tried but nothing happen. But the
Code:
Failed to obtain xauth key: xauth binary not found at usual locations
message as disapeared! Binary or port.

Only one more idea I have.
Code:
Portupgrade -af
+ Rebuild all ports on the system
+ Check for updates. If there is a new update, Install the new update from ports.
+ Fix broken packages, links etc
+ Install missing dependencies too.
Take some time, depends on how many packages have on your system and how many cores is your CPU but sometimes solve some issues.

The machine isn't so bad, that an i5 with 8GB of ram. Bud with gnome and other thing install I estimate that to 12-16h.
