fs-uae and fs-uae-launcher packages are deprecated

Hello everyone.
I'm new to FreeBSD. I used to use Arch Linux, but I decided to try something else so I wouldn't have to use SystemD anymore. I really like FreeBSD so far.
I used to be a big fan of the Amiga 1200 and sometimes I like to play old Amiga games. I use fs-uae and fs-uae launcher for that.
I found out that the fs-uae and fs-uae-launcher packages are outdated and unmaintained in FreeBSD.
Does anyone know if it will stay that way and both packages will still be outdated, or will they be updated to the current version 3.2.35? Unfortunately, I personally don't know how to program, so I can't update them.
Thanks in advance for any answers.

Outdated and deprecated are two entirely different things. The ports aren't deprecated. emulators/fs-uae is maintained by me, the launcher is maintained by someone else. Not entirely sure how that came about as they're both from the same upstream. I took over fs-uae from the previous maintainer about 7 years ago.

or will they be updated to the current version 3.2.35?
After an extremely long absence Frode (I honestly started to assume the project was dead) made a new version fairly recently. Initially only available on Github. I tried but couldn't get that to build. Lacked the time to have better look and then kind of forgot about it.

If I can get things to work I'll see if I can get the launcher updated too, but as I said, I don't maintain the port for the launcher.
