Not sure if this is related to Xfce4.8, Xorg, VirtualBox, or some combination thereof, but I seem to be experiencing an odd mouse-click delay, which is most obvious when starting a new Xfce4.8 desktop session.
For example, clicking on an application from the menu or double-clicking on a desktop icon will not result in an immediate response, but the operation will complete after a significant delay or after clicking again on the icon/menu item. This behavior seems to disappear shortly after initializing the desktop, but it is still kind of annoying. Any ideas?
If it helps, I will supply the contents of my xorg.conf file:
