Solved freebsd-update patch downloads really slow

Hi, just running freebsd-update -r 11.2-RELEASE about 45 minutes ago. So far its only at:

That's a LONG way from 11238.
Question is, why is it so slow? Earlier when seeing this killed the process, added 3GB ram so there is 4GB total. Have 4vCPUs and 35Mbps so I don't think its our side being so slow.

Any way to speed up the fetching of patches?

Out of interest which server is that? If it's the one with 5 in the hostname then I always experience the same issue from that one and forcing it to connect to any of the other ones it works quickly. It doesn't seem to be a network problem as the initial connect or ping times are quick. It's as if the server is running slow.
 
/etc/freebsd-update.conf had update6.FreeBSD.org
ping update6.FreeBSD.org
ping: cannot resolve update6.freebsd.org: Unknown host
 
The reason it was slow as molasses was due to IPv6 being configured but not working. Cannot ping6 past our router. Disabled IPv6 config lines in /etc/rc.conf then ran /etc/netstart and restarted pkg-static upgrade -f and it worked just as it should, FAST
