FreeBSD on server HP Proliant DL325 Gen11

Hi all.
I am in preparation of new server and need to have FreeBSD as a base system.
Server is HP Proliant DL325,CPU AMD EPYC 9115 (32) @ 2.596GHz , 64GB DDR5 RAM, 2 x 480GB SSD for OS and 2 x 800GB SSD for DATA.
First I tried to use 15 release, but it was not successful.
I searched on net that there are some problems with serial port redirection and booting...
So I tried to change settings in BIOS to have enabled some options like EMS serial console or another to have enabled ass much serial ports setting as is possible to have system working.
After trying even 13.5, 14.4 stable and 15 stable (both from 9.4.2026) I ended with 16 current (from 13.4.2026) which normally booted and now is running on server without any problems.
It is quite good to have on that server rather release version but I need to have it working quite soon.
This could help to other also I think who are trying use this server
My question is what is difference between snapshots released before 13.4.2026 ?
Does anybody know ?
 
Hi. Thanks I know about this and I also noticed more others.
I will place some more info in that communication on Bugzilla.
Server HP DL325 gen11 I installed is running on 16 current several days, so it appears good.

Hi.
I am sorry I did not do any updates.
Finally I run server on 15.1 Stable which was possible also install and with help from bugzilla of FreeBSD where is detail what put to boot/loader.conf to have bhyve working.
Same change was working also for 16 but I wanted to have better and stable environment. Now is released also 15.1. so I could switch and update.
I have also configured HP server to have serial port redirect so I see directly what is doing in SSH console since I do not have full enterprise license to use ILO gfx console.
But that serial SSH console is very nice and it helps to have out of band management of that server.
Is that you wanted to know or need to have more information ?
 
I have installed an DL320 Gen11 in May. Everything works, from iLO with SOL via SSH to the HTML5 console and the controller with mrsas(4). This abysmal system compiles world and kernel in 15 min. Insane.
