FreeBSD is perfect on the Desktop once you set it up the way you like.

I like linux distros such as Arch Linux because you can start with a very small base system and convert it to a full-fledged desktop os with web browser, office suite, even games/simulators.

I decided to try FreeBSD because it is famous for being stable, reliable and fast.
Started with the tiny 700MB memstick image, and now i have a full KDE 4 interface with all the bells and whistles, firefox, thunderbird...

So far liking the experience :D
