Hey guys. I'm new to FreeBSD and I'm having some trouble. I've tried to do what I can the past 4 days to figure things out but it's quite hard for me
Anyway, I've install FreeBSD on a Dell Optiplex GX260 and it sort of went well except gnome is giving me issues. One issue is the CD/DVD Drive keeps telling me "Unable to mount location: can't mount file" while in Gnome. From the Terminal I can get to it no problem but
Gnome can't use it. Weird. Another problem I'm in the dark about is that when I'm in Gnome doing nothing, I get an error saying

Now this happens on its own and I don't touch or do anything to make it happen. I just log into Gnome and get hit with it after a min or so. Just happened again. Anyways, if anyone could help out with these two problems I'd be grateful.
