FreeBSD and Samsung SM332B CD/DVD drive

Hey guys. I'm new to FreeBSD and I'm having some trouble. I've tried to do what I can the past 4 days to figure things out but it's quite hard for me :P Anyway, I've install FreeBSD on a Dell Optiplex GX260 and it sort of went well except gnome is giving me issues. One issue is the CD/DVD Drive keeps telling me "Unable to mount location: can't mount file" while in Gnome. From the Terminal I can get to it no problem but
Gnome can't use it. Weird. Another problem I'm in the dark about is that when I'm in Gnome doing nothing, I get an error saying

Code:
An internal error has occurred
A problem that we were not expecting has occurred. Please report this bug in your distribution bugtracker with the error description.

And More Details reveals
Code:
The backend exited unexpectedly. This is a serious error as the spawned backend did not complete the pending transaction.

Now this happens on its own and I don't touch or do anything to make it happen. I just log into Gnome and get hit with it after a min or so. Just happened again. Anyways, if anyone could help out with these two problems I'd be grateful.

Yeah I read this a little but couldn't figure out if this was my problem or not (I don't exactly know what I'm doing :P) I'm using FreeBSD with Gnome 2.32.1. Installed it from the DVD I made as the pci wifi card isn't compatible and ndisgen is giving me issues. Anyway, so I guess I delete the following from the fstab file and I should be good? I appreciate the reply so fast :)

Code:
/dev/acd0 /cdrom cd9660 ro,noauto 0 2

Wow. I deleted that line and it works now. I don't know why exactly but awesome! Thank you. Now for the big challenge; installing my TL-WN951N Wireless N PCI Adapter :) Also, gnome seems to be lagging a lot :|

I'm getting the black lines up in the top left corner next to the clock and the computer looks like its trying to do a lot of work. This is when I log into my normal user account not root.
