Downloaded and burned onto pendrive FreeBSD-14.1-RELEASE-amd64-memstick.img (also tried version 13.3-RELEASE). Boot screen shows correctly, but when hitting 'enter', installation freezes after probing for some devices, and reboot is required. When I disable ACPI, console prints a few hexadecimal numbers and crashes. Enabling safe mode, single user or changing cons doesn't help either.

I use ASRock B650M PG Lightning with bios version 3.01 released on 2024/5/15 with secure boot and fast boot disabled, and I try to install FreeBSD using 32GB USB 2.0 pendrive. My CPU is Ryzen 5 7600.

NetBSD worked out of the box, while OpenBSD also froze.

I wanted to try FreeBSD, since I always used Windows, recently switched to ArchLinux, liked it, and wanted to try yet different OS.

Did you verify the checksum?
And please try to disable the TPM all together. It can be a royal PITA.

I did not verify checksums, however I downloaded usb stick, discs and boot only image variants multiple times, none of which worked. When burning other images (windows ISO, ArchLinux, Mint, debian, etc.) I never checked checksum, but I haven't encountered broken download yet.

I disabled TPM, but it didn't help.
