Yesterday I started moving NFS shares from an older FreeBSD machine (FBSD11) to a new Synology NAS, hoping to use NFSv4 (for better locking mostly, no delegation).
The first FS worked fine (imap accessed with dovecot). The second only gave NFSv4 error 10026 in the logging.
This is: Observium running in a jail on FBSD12 box, rrdcached to access the RRD files on NFS. I could open files with cat/strings, but rrdcached wasn't happy at all.
Error 10026 seems to be related to sequence numbers out of order. But what more I can check and how is beyond me. Maybe I should check if fcntl and flock work fine on an nfsv4 share?
Did anyone see this before (and fix it preferably), or have some hints how to check further? For the moment I reverted to nfsv3 and that works.
