FreeBSD 12 is depreciated and not officially supported anymore. So no more prebuilt packages. Upgrade to a 13 or 14 release.
Thanks for reply larshenrikoern, yeah i have some isue im uing rsnapshot for backup and have some error

Code:
native_cp_al("/mnt/DISK2/BACKUP_DAILY/daily.0","/mnt/DISK2/BACKUP_DAILY/daily.1")
ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.32/mach/CORE/libperl.so.5.32: Undefined symbol "strerror_l@FBSD_1.6"

I think this is a problem in one of the perl libalry and I was going to try to update perl.

12.2 was already outdated as 12.4 was the last version. The error is because you have an outdated OS.

Hello SirDice Thanks for reply, so for this solution upgrade to 12.4 version? or you have more solutions?

because iam when im using rsnapshot:

Code:
native_cp_al("/mnt/DISK2/BACKUP_DAILY/daily.0","/mnt/DISK2/BACKUP_DAILY/daily.1")
ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.32/mach/CORE/libperl.so.5.32: Undefined symbol "strerror_l@FBSD_1.6"

No, the solution is to upgrade to 13.2 or 14.0. The entire 12 branch is EoL. I was commenting on the fact that when 12 was still supported your 12.2 was already outdated because 12.4 existed.

I think you have a hardware problem.

Hello cracauer thanks for our reply,

I tell you a little story, previously I had 5 additional hard drives and I had a fairly large file measuring around 300Gb. then I didn't use the file and I deleted it but during the deletion process suddenly my machine restarted suddenly but the deletion process was not complete. it happened repeatedly, I tried to do the sata cable replacement it still remains the same.

then when I upgrade freebsd when doing make buildword and make buildkernel have error code 138 and 139. is it possible that this is a hardware problem maybe SSD for system or Motherboard.

this error:

Boot in single user mode, then force a file system check without repairs (to see the state of the file system):

fsck -fn

Compare with, for example:

In my opinion you should run memtest86(+) right now and not use the system as long as there are errors. They will slowly scramble the contents of your hard drive.
right after I checked using memtest86 it turns out that my memory was errored and problematic, now I have replaced my machine memory and can upgrade to 13.2-RELEASE-p9, thank you for the information is very helpful.

but can i ask again after upgrade, my /usr directory became full can post upgrade tep files be deleted? like /usr/obj/

After you did the installkernel/installworld you can remove the entire contents of /usr/obj.

I'm trying to make a FreeBSD 12.04 system still usable. Packages don't work anymore because it is EOL,but the ports still work good, but only for a few amount of time,I think.

owhh okeyyy thx SirDice,

sorry I want to ask again I have another machine and I will upgrade to FreeBSD 13.2 Release but I have a little problem my /usr partition is only 13Gb. while to do make buildworld buildkernel requires a large storage space whether /usr/obj can I use symlink to another partition or there is a solution from you, thank you
