I've been working on my gnome desktop to see if I can make it work better, right now on policy-kit.
I've noticed that gnome-panel installed policy kit actions into /usr/local/share/polkit-1/actions/, such as org.gnome.clockapplet.mechanism.policy for example. Would anyone be able to tell me why that is? I think these .policy files are normally found in /usr/local/share/PolicyKit/policy. And my system doesn't find them in /usr/local/share/polkit-1.
