Solved fetch: http://distcache.FreeBSD.org/ports-distfiles/FreeBSDDesktop-kms-firmware-g20201213-efe0d9f_GH0.tar.gz: Not Found

Hi,
I was installing drm-kmod via ports and ran into this error. Turns out access to http://distcache.FreeBSD.org/ports-distfiles is forbidden. Is it because I'm in China, mainland? The access was ok a week ago.
Any workaround, except for pkg install?

For me the URL is forbidden too. I am in Germany, so it has nothing to do with you located in China.

There was a problem because the repo-name on github was changed, please try it again by updating your ports tree.

Browsing is forbidden because it generates a lot of load on the webservers.

Apart from that, yes, as already stated, update the ports tree to solve the issue

Sorry for overreacting but I’ve seen so many times my internet access to outside of the country is stopped by the “great”greatwall. And considering what is going on between the two countries...
