Solved Fatal trap 18: integer divide fault while in kernel mode after compile kernel on Freebsd 11.1

Hi , I facing the problem above after compile the kernel. Each time FreeBSD will loop boot several time until can go to login page.

My cpu info
hw.model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4160 CPU @ 3.60GHz
hw.machine: i386
hw.ncpu: 4

my kernel info added my option from generic one.
Code:

Can anyone help to check where or which option which causing the problem. Thanks.
Below I manage to capture the last screen before it restart again.

Do NOT name your custom kernel GENERIC. Everybody will expect a kernel named GENERIC to be the standard kernel, not a customized one. And why are you building an i386 kernel on a 64 bit system?

As for your error, is there anything in /etc/make.conf and/or /etc/src.conf?

Hi, SirDice. Thanks for reply. Sure i will take notes on the name part. And about the i386 kernel on 64 bit system because i installed i386 version freebsd?

And in freebsd there is not /etc/make.conf and /etc/src.conf both conf file.

i had try install amd64 freebsd 11.1, don't why the USB didn't boot up the installation, so i change to i386

Hi, is it the cause the kernel problem, install i386 on 64 bit system?
I don't recommend it but it should work nonetheless. Try building the original GENERIC kernel, it should build without failures. If the regular GENERIC kernel builds and your custom kernel doesn't you've most likely made a mistake in the configuration.

Hi, thanks for reply. I had try few way to solve it, then the problem solve after i try freebsd-update fetch and freebsd-update install.
