Other FAT 32: compute entry point areas

Hello guys,

have you the formulas to compute the entry point in sector number (not their lenght) of:

- the File Allocation Table (FAT32)
- the Root Directory
- the Data Area

PS. I have already read everything more about FAT32 (from wikipedia to the Microsoft Official Document, ecc ... ecc .... ecc ...).

Help is appreciated.

The original File Allocation Table 16Bit or FAT16 which was forked into Fat32 and fat32 Large block Address Fat32,LBA.

Hello guys !!

I've formatted a usb stick FAT32.
Boot sector have backup copy starting with 6 sectors so in total 12 sectors.
However, the sector 13 shows data.
Could be possible that these data are the boot sector continuation ?

Thanks in advance.
