Solved ezjail not starting moved jail

I had a jail running fine on a server. As part of a general re-org on the server I moved all the jail files to a new location on the server, now the jail will not start either at the jail's boot time or later manually. But if I create a symlink at the old location that points to the new location everything is fine again. I think a symlink is pretty sloppy in this case and it's just that ezjail is looking at an old config pointing to the old location but
/usr/local/etc/ezjail.conf
/usr/local/etc/ezjail/<jailname>.conf
/var/run/jail.<jailname>.conf

all look correct, with the new location and I've rebooted the server. What config am I missing?

Check the /etc/fstab.<jail> configuration files.

As far as I remember sysutils/ezjail makes a lot of use of symbolic links. I would not wonder if some links from or to the basejail of sysutils/ezjail need to be corrected.

Missed this completely, while hovering all over /usr/local/<various>. This is going in my notes, while I think about qjail.
