Other ESXi Software Adapter Initiator failure to connect

When I ping from my esxi host v6.7 to the Nimble array the ping fails. Where should I begin troubleshooting this issue?

Do you have TRACERT on your host?
I run ESXi 6.7, but never bothered to ping anything from the host.
My VMs and LAN environment are all Windows.

Oh that makes sense. I have some VMWare clusters running Windows and Linux. If I have any ESXi issues I should ask Microsoft and Red Hat.
