Error upgrading 13.1 and 13.2, requesting help

Upgrading the 13.1 OR 13.2 system is stuck here and cannot access the system. Could you please help us understand the reason?

That looks like it never hits init because it can't load the correct disk.

It doesn't fail to locate the root filesystem. That would be an error printed, and a prompt.

It just hangs. The place where it hangs doesn't ring a bell.

Can you boot kernel.old?
