Does everybody have to run local-unbound setup post-install?

During setup, I pick unbound to start at boot. But, if I try to access anything requiring dns, it’s no go until I call local-unbound-setup with the dns nameservers supplied. Then it all works as expected.

I’m wondering if I did something screwy during install. All I did was -1) put my desired name servers in when requested and edited the search field:

Search: sentech.home
Dns1: 208.67.222.222
Dns2: 208.67.220.220

2) after first boot, ran local-unbound-setup 208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220

Is there a better way?
