Does anybody know the last FreeBSD version with a working aoe driver (either i386 or amd64)?

The title says it. I would like to do some experiments using the transport model of aoe.

That is the reason, why I put the question in the ports forum.
The files in net/aoe are from 25 may 2006. This would fit for FreeBSD 6 or 7.
All verisons since 10 seem to be broken.
