In my understanding, this should cause the cyrus master process to purge from that specific mailbox any message delivered more than 35 days prior. However, checking this mailbox reveals that there are more than 9000 messages older than 35 days. I have asked about this on they cyrus info mailing list but that appears to be very lightly trafficked.
If anyone has any advice or clarification to give me on why this is (not) happening I would appreciate it.
