Creating a bootable Android microSD card from FreeBSD

Has anyone ever come across a way of creating a bootable Android microSD card from FreeBSD?

I'm not really sure if you can boot an Android device from a card, but it looks as though this may be possible using ADB, which I know little about.

Is ADB something I can use on FreeBSD?

android tv boxes can boot from sd if you press the reset button inside the 3.5mm audio jack
they use uboot but its proprietary and depends on the SOC

ADB provides access to a Unix shell that you can use to run a variety of commands on an Android device.

Has anyone tried it. I've looked at a few forums but don't really know how to get started....

Yes. Using it is the same on all platforms, so you should be fine with an article like this How to Install and Use ADB, the Android Debug Bridge Utility
Simply skip the install part if you install from a package or port.
This is not a FreeBSD question any more.
