I have somehow archived all of my photos. When I, pkg remove magic, I thought that would remove Mgdir/archive and remove the following error message (Could not open "file ending .jpg" Archive type not supported) Any help will be appreciated.
Probably indicates that an archiver has been wrongly associated with jpg.
So hopefully images are fine its just the file association.
Looking at the package cad/magic/ it is an x11 app.
It probably did not delete itself cleanly.
An easy fix is to install an image viewer/editor and it will associate itself with all image formats. pkg install viewnior graphics/viewnior/
If you already have a preferred image viewer/editor just try re-installing it with the -F flag.
